Phoenix officers Antonio Felix and Luis Vasquez have been arrested on charges including aggravated assault and kidnapping. Police say the victims were assaulted and shocked with a Taser during a late-night traffic stop; body cameras were not activated and there is no video evidence. The investigation is ongoing and a court date is scheduled.
Defacement of a Turning Point USA statue at its Phoenix headquarters has been reported shortly after the one-year anniversary of Kirk’s death. Police are investigating; the organization says it will restore the memorial and review footage.
