A broad coalition including the AFNM, OLA, TPLF, ONLF, Afar Unity Front, Benishangul Movement and Gumuz group has formed the Alliance for Survival to end Abiy Ahmed’s Prosperity Party and oversee a transitional government. The alliance says it will unite diverse armed groups across regions to end war, safeguard rights and open dialogue. Addis Ababa has not publicly commented. The move follows renewed clashes and regional tensions since the Pretoria peace deal.
